Also, engravings sometimes take on a holographic or more subtle look (again, dependent on the photo). We do our best to make contrast and level adjustments to every photo. Professionally shot, contrasty photos work best! If you supply us with a poor quality scan/digital photo, we may request that you send us the original photo (via U.S. standard mail) for scanning. Why We Use Rhodium-Plated Pendants instead of Nickel Rhodium is a bright, hard metal. The density of rhodium allows it to hold its shape for a very long period of time. Rhodium is acid and chemical resistant, and should withstand contact from body chemicals. Rhodium is a naturally brighter metal which will result in a brighter engraved image. The benefit to you is higher quality right from the start. Note: Gold-plated pendants are not rhodium plated. Care Instructions Rhodium-Plated/Gold-Plated: To keep your pendant looking its best, do not immerse it in water (do not swim while wearing it), apply lotions, sprays or perfumes directly on the pendant. Also, do not attempt to clean pendants with cleaning solvents. If you need to clean the pendant, simply use a soft cloth. Completing Your Order Orders are normally completed within 5 to 7 business days from when we receive them.
